Crowded at the top at after first weekend

Despite a number of upsets during the first four days of the NCAA Tournament, there are plenty of contenders for the Huron Daily Tribune Sports Blog/Facebook Contest.
There is a tie at the top, with Drew Brining and Martin Baker. They each have 50 points.
Jill Susalla, the 2010 champion, is in second with 49 points, but had Duke winning her bracket.
Day 2 leaders Brandon Deacons and Scott Buchman are third with 47 points. Deacons, though, has lost two of his Final Four.
Sports editor Paul Adams is having one of his better brackets in years, tied for 14th, with 43 point

NIT is the real deal, y'all. Oregon vs. Washington is going to be a barn-burner. It's like an extension of an already incredible Pac10 season! The first two came down to the wire, with Wash winning 76-60, while in the second game Washington squeaked it out in a heart-breaking nail-bighter 82-57. Sign this guy up for round 3!!!

Oregon quacked it out, I meant. This one will be the rubber match for all the marbles, baby! Winner advances to play either the mighty Gophers of Minnesota or some other team. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!! I'm drooling!!!

Ummmmmmm, OK? Have fun with that.

You gotta like that guy's enthusiasm. Good lord. Anyone who watches the NIT is a bigger basketball fan than I am.

You guys are missing out big time!!! Those were some fantastic games last night. I'm really excited about the match-up between Washington and either Minnesota or Middle Tennessee State. MST is an underrated team that really should have made the big dance and they will make them regret it. Those guys would have easily made the sweet 16, maybe pull a shocker for the elite 8. They swept Florida Atlantic and Florida International this year. Not too shabby if you ask me!!!!Don't sleep on those guys!

Normally - I would ask if this guy is crazy. But I did actually catch that Drexel-UMass game last night and it was quality. Better than any game I've seen in the NCAA tournament, that's for sure.

Aw yeah, bro! High five! This guy knows what I'm talking about! Re-match alert - in the CBI - Washington State is taking on Oregon State for the third time this year - another rubber match! Both finished 7-11 in a tough Pac 10 (it is underrated if you ask me). Anyways, good to see a fellow NIT/CBI fan. Folks are missing out, bro. Hit me up on here if you wanna get 2gether for a game!

Good grief, there must be something in the water where some of these guys live that we don't get in Caseville.

Ohio State doesn't even play Kentucky tomorrow night!!! In fact their not even on the same side of the bracket!!!

Only thing you get in Caseville is Cheeseburger Turds and Margarita Urine.

Hahaha, jamaican waffles or jamaican pancakes? Get it?

I think you need to look at your bracket again. Kentucky plays Syracuse - they are opposite each other in the bracket. You learn something every day

I know what your father-in-law would say. He'd say "Why, the only person I'd rather have marry my daughter than that little Timmy Tebow fella - is Seth Stapleton. What a nice young fellow he is."
