How does # 23 from Sandusky continue to play for that school? Benched last night for dropping F bombs to the coaching staff and to parents in the crowd? Is it really worth it? Show some respect for the game and those that do it the right way and throw that kid off the team.

Not the first time.Had to sit early in the season for behavior in the classroom.

Welcome to the zoo that is Sandusky. Obviously the Athletic Director, coach and administration care more about winning and less about character and sportsmanship. Not real surprising at all.

give the coaches credit at least they benched him and left him on the bench.. sounds like the kid has some problems. it appeared he was hollering at temamates during the game also. not good

If the floor is an extention of the classroom, then would that be acceptable in the classroom? Coach did the right thing in benching him,but will the school now do the right thing? Is this really what Sandusky is about?

I sat on the opposite side of the gym and could hear the coach going after that player. Then, that same player was motioning to the crowd and pointing at a parent. If he wasn't the best player on sanduskys team would they put up with his antics? We know the answer to that question.

I believe the school will do the right thing. The coaches already demonstrated they know how to do the right thing by how they handeled the kid at the game. It looks like the kid needs help and there are good people at SHS like Al Demot who will do what is best for the kid and the school. It would be great if every kid was perfect but just like adults they make mistakes and need help, lets hope he gets it.

amen, only those close to the player can make the right moves

Sports dosent always build character, sometimes it exposes the lack of it.

I love Peck. hope that they can win again in their next game.

Port hope? They don't have one good win this season..like deckerville they prey on the weak.

Mayville scored a total of.....5 points? What? I've never known a school to be consistently bad in every sport. What's the deal?

Lakers scored 14 recently

From above post, my son told me sandusky kid who got in trouble at the game transferred to ?? can someone confirm on where and if he really did transfer why

Anonymous said...

Marlette .Why....same reason as the stockton kid from reese, akron, owen gage....shoot the ball 30 times a game.

Anonymous said...

I missed something. He transferred to local Marlette to shooot more. I saw the game he got in trouble and that has nothing to do with him moving.

Very selfish player...let his team and coaches down

Kudos to the Sandusky coaches and staff. Nobody is bigger than the team and the win against Brown City proves that.
