The blog will remain

Although we have been dark for a few weeks now, I want to reassure everyone that the blog will remain. I will attempt to update it a few times a week. The blog will have a different feel to it. I will probably provide some quick hitting comments or observations about sports at all levels. Also, we are attempting to renew our commitment to more feature stories. We would love to hear your ideas. Keep in mind, we do have a limited staff, so we probably can't do every idea that comes our way (but we will try our best). As has become a staple, we will be continuing the blog football contest in the fall. We will also be doing the NCAA Basketball Tournament Contest through cbssports.com.

Thank you for your continued patience and support.
