Thursday Night Football

Week 2 kicks off tonight with a couple of interesting contests in the Greater Thumb Conference.

In the GTE, Adams will be at Ubly where the Bearcats put their 33-game regular season winning streak on the line against a very good Sandusky squad. Last week, the Bearcats picked up a 28-0 win over Unionville-Sebewaing Area while the Redskins bounced Cass City, 43-0.

Bogan is planning to head to Harbor Beach where the 1-0 Pirates host 0-1 North Huron in a GTE vs. North Central Thumb League matchup.
The Pirates pounced on Bad Axe last week, 42-0, while the Warriors dropped a 34-8 decision to Au Gres.

In the GTW, 0-1 Bad Axe travels to 1-0 Reese, 1-0 Vassar is at 0-1 Elkton-Pigeon-Bay Port and 0-1 USA is at 0-1 Bay City All Saints.

In the GTE, 1-0 Marlette travels to 0-1 Mayville.
The GTC crossover this week is 0-1 Cass City at 1-0 Brown City.

The lone NCTL game is at Deckerville where the defending league champions are looking to shake off a disappointing showing against a powerful Mendon squad last week when  they host 1-0 Kingston.

In NCTL non-leaguers, Peck is at Whittemore-Prescott and Dearborn Heights Star International travels to Memphis.

In 8-man tonight, Burr Oak is at Owendale-Gagetown, Marine City Cardinal Mooney is at Carsonville-Port Sanilac and Flint MSD travels to Akron-Fairgrove.

PLEASE POST ANY SCORES/COMMENTS FROM TONIGHT'S GAMES.
I will post all the scores when I get into the office early Friday morning...
